Windows 7 is here!
I have been sounding the horn since late last year as a beta tester about W7 and its finally here! Officially released today, October 22nd 2009! I realize that this has been said before, but it really can’t be understated this time; “Windows 7 is the best Microsoft Operating System Ever”! All the people who either wouldn’t upgrade from XP because they were scared of Vista or their machines wouldn’t work with Vista, the time has come to step into the future. Vista is no longer, it is time Windows 7. If you want it, you can get it from almost anywhere including a direct download from the Microsoft Store. Okay…. hmmm…. I’m running Windows XP 64 bit. To upgrade to W7 will I have to start from scratch?
Yes, I would start from scratch either way. The XP 64 bit kernel is very different from W7. Anyway, there isnt a way to do in-place upgrade of XP to W7.
